Paul’s work is developed systematically through an additive process of layering acrylic paint, collage materials, and various acrylic mediums over masked areas. These faceted and densely layered compositions reflect my interest to reconcile two distinct features: rigorously developed configurations of shape and less controlled methods of paint applications.
